100% fine Merino wool
(The merino wool comes from Uruguayan farms that allow their sheep to run free-range through the hills, herded by shepherds. The practice of mulesing does not exist in Uruguay).
10ply / worsted weight
100 grams / (210 yards = approx. 192 metres)
Made in Peru
This amazing hand dyed merino yarn is produced by a family owned yarn company located in Uruguay and Peru. It's a beautifully soft single ply yarn, kettle dyed in small batches by artisan dyers.
Use for: Knitting, crochet or other woolcrafts, including felting. The subtle variations throughout each skein also look great when woven!
Gauge: 18 sts = 4 inches
Needle Size: 4.5mm - 5.5mm (US 7 - 9)
Care: Hand wash in cold water, dry flat.
